Melodee Hanes and Max Baucus (picture above) were in a relationship when Max nominated his girfrlend Melodee for U.S. attorney. Melodee Hanes is girlfriend to Baucus now and reportedly while the Senate Finance Committee Chair nominated her for a U.S. attorney slot.

Wanda and Max Baucus were married for 25 years. In April the couple announced they were separating, issuing a join statement that they had still had “mutual respect” for each other. This was Max’s second marraige.
